Gauge interest in new concept

Before you spend any money developing a product that may or may not sell, you should test out the concept to gauge interest, optimize for best performance and guide your creative strategy so that you can increase buying intent.

Questions you could ask:

"Would you be interested in a product that [insert idea/details on what makes your idea special]?"

"If we took this current product and improved the overall design/features to include [insert modifications], would it make you want to purchase it? Why or why not?

"Is there something that you struggle with at home that a product could help with that either isn't available in your location, not affordable or doesn't exist?"
