Testing image sets with PickFu

How to use the image set option type to test and compare full product image stacks (up to 6 images in each stack).

Updated this week

The image set option type in the PickFu poll builder lets you test full product image stacks – a main image plus up to five supporting images – to find out which combination performs best.

Whether you're optimizing for Amazon or another e-commerce platform, this feature helps you make smarter visual decisions, faster.

In this article, we’ll show you how to compare one or multiple image stacks side-by-side and get feedback from real online shoppers.

What is an image set?

An image set, or image stack, is a group of up to six product images:

  • One main image

  • Up to five supporting images (e.g., lifestyle shots, alternate angles, infographics)

Choosing the image set option type in the poll or survey builder lets you test different sets to see which one resonates most with your audience.

When to test your image sets

You can test your image stacks when you want to:

  • Launch a new product

  • Refresh your product imagery

  • Optimize your listing for better click-through rates or conversions

  • Compare your image stack to a competitor's

Yes. You can test up to 8 image stacks with a single poll.

No, you can test your image sets no matter where you're selling by uploading images directly. However, auto-importing and common layouts are currently only supported for Amazon image stacks.
