Validating your choice for model/actor to showcase your products is crucial because these elements directly tie your potential consumers' buying intention to your product. They heavily influence how your product is perceived and how effectively your message resonates with the intended audience. Having the right model/actor can create a strong emotional connection, whereas a bad one can turn them away in a split second no matter how perfect your product is for them.

Questions you could ask:

"Do you feel this model reflects or represents you or people like you who would be buying this product? Why or why not?"

"How does this voiceover make you feel?"

"Is there anything about the model that might be off-putting or turns you away from the product, if so what and why?"

"After listening to this voiceover, what do you remember about it?"

"Does this model in the ad keep you engaged or hold your attention?"

"What celebrity do you think would be a good fit for this brand?"

"If [insert celebrity] was to record an ad for [insert product], what would you think of that endorsement/partnership?"

"What do you think of the tone of this model, does it feel rushed or pushy or calming and informative?"
