Yes, you can. Here’s how to do it.

Audience targeting means poll respondents reflect your customer base.

A random audience is simply the first 50, 100, 200, or 500 people who answer your poll, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, or income. These respondents don’t fit into a specific group so any of them can answer a random audience poll.

A targeted audience is custom-built based on respondents’ demographic, behavioral, or psychographic traits. You can choose from over 40 audience targeting traits (see the full list for more information about our respondents).

To use audience targeting, input your poll question and options, then select Custom audience.

You can search for traits or scroll through the options until you find the demographics you want to target.

*Note: if you toggle between Custom audience and Random audience after choosing traits, you may lose your saved options, so please make sure you’ve selected what you want before checking out.

There are two ways to build a target audience. One way is to select from the popular traits listed in blue (see image below). As you select traits, the Poll Builder will suggest commonly paired attributes that could be beneficial to your poll (for example, Heavy Body Care User + Female). Another way to build your audience is by searching for traits using the Search field.

Note: if you want to remove a particular trait, simply click the x next to the selected trait.

Here is our current list of demographic and behavioral traits you can target:

Most people can get the feedback they need by polling 50 respondents, but sometimes your poll may require a larger sample. Keep in mind that you can always add more respondents to a poll after it has been completed.

We are always adding more targetable traits, so if you don’t see what you want, email us at info@pickfu.com and let us know.
